Driving Directions
From Palm Springs, Yucca Valley and Lucerne Valley:
From Palm Springs, head north on Highway 62 toward Yucca Valley, then turn onto Highway 247 toward Lucerne Valley. Continue until you reach Highway 18 and follow it up the mountain into Big Bear Lake. Stay on Highway 18/Big Bear Blvd through town—the Performing Arts Center will be on your right at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.
From San Diego and Temecula: Option 1
From San Diego, head north on I‑15 toward the Inland Empire. Continue past Temecula and Lake Elsinore, then take the exit for I‑215 North toward San Bernardino. Merge onto I‑10 East briefly, then take Highway 210 East. From there, follow Highway 330 North into the mountains—this becomes Highway 18. Stay on Highway 18 through Running Springs and Snow Valley until you reach Big Bear Lake. Continue along Highway 18/Big Bear Blvd; the Performing Arts Center will be on your right at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.
From San Diego and Temecula: Option 2 - Alternate Scenic Route via Forest Falls - Highway 38
From San Diego, head north on I‑15 toward the Inland Empire. Continue onto I‑215 North, then merge onto I‑10 East toward Redlands. From Redlands, take the exit for Highway 38 and follow it through Mountain Home Village and Forest Falls. Highway 38 continues up the mountain past Angelus Oaks and Barton Flats before descending into Big Bear. Stay on Highway 38 until it meets Big Bear Blvd, then follow Big Bear Blvd to the Performing Arts Center at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.
From Orange County:
From Orange County, head north on I‑5 or the 55 Freeway and connect to the 91 East toward Riverside. Continue on the 91 until it meets I‑215 North, then merge onto I‑10 East toward Redlands. From Redlands, take Highway 210 East and follow it to Highway 330 North. Highway 330 becomes Highway 18 as you climb into the mountains. Stay on Highway 18 through Running Springs and Snow Valley until you reach Big Bear Lake. Continue along Highway 18/Big Bear Blvd; the Performing Arts Center will be on your right at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.
From Redlands and San Bernardino:
From Riverside or San Bernardino, take I‑10 East into Redlands and exit onto Highway 38. Follow Highway 38 through Mountain Home Village, Forest Falls, and Angelus Oaks. Continue on Highway 38 until it meets Big Bear Blvd near the airport, then follow Big Bear Blvd to the Performing Arts Center.

We strongly recommend renting a car, as Big Bear Lake does not have direct public transit from any airport, and mountain roads require flexible travel timing.
From Las Vegas, head south on I‑15 toward Barstow. Continue on I‑15 until you reach the exit for Highway 247 (Barstow Road) toward Lucerne Valley. Follow Highway 247 through the high desert until it meets Highway 18. Take Highway 18 up the mountain into Big Bear Lake. Continue along Highway 18/Big Bear Blvd to the Performing Arts Center at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.
Typical drive time: 3.5–4 hours.
From Phoenix, take I‑10 West toward California. Continue on I‑10 through Palm Springs and into Redlands. Exit onto Highway 38 and follow it through Mountain Home Village, Forest Falls, and Angelus Oaks. Highway 38 brings you directly into Big Bear’s east side near the airport. Continue on Big Bear Blvd to the Performing Arts Center at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.
Typical drive time: 5–6 hours.
From the Bay Area, take I‑5 South toward Los Angeles. Transition to Highway 210 East near Pasadena, then continue to Highway 330 North. Highway 330 becomes Highway 18 as you climb into the mountains. Free festival parking is available at the Performing Arts Center parking lots, first come, first service. Overflow parking is available on surrounding streets. Please follow all parking signs and do not block driveways. Look for additional parking on Iris Drive, Tulip Lane and Crocus Drive.

We bring you NEW and returning drink and food vendors to the Big Bear Yoga Festival! Also, you are welcome to bring food and snacks to enjoy and there are multiple locations for picnics. No food or drink is allowed inside the Theater.
Just a few miles away from the festival location is the beautiful and charming Village of Big Bear Lake with many restaurant options to choose from. A few more miles down the main road, Big Bear Blvd, are three grocery stores: Vons, Stater Brothers and Grocery Outlet. All have organic options.

A: We love the mountains, but weather can vary and you should plan accordingly. In October the days can be warm, and the nights cool to chilly. Bring hats, sunscreen, and appropriate clothes. Make sure to bring any necessary items to make your stay fun and relaxing. Oh, and of course your yoga mat and any props you prefer using! A blanket or meditation cushion is helpful if you plan to participate in meditation. You may also want to bring a notebook and pen, a refillable water bottle, slip-on shoes and of course, comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely.
A: We have multiple yoga classes going on during the festival event, including music, movement classes, lectures on health and wellness, guided meditation and more! Come ready for fun and willing to share in your great energy!
A: This is one of our most popular Yoga FAQs at Big Bear Yoga Festival! We love our pets too, but sorry! ABSOLUTELY no pets whatsoever (except service animals). “All Service Animals must wear visible Service Animal ID at all times, such as a vest or harness. Service Animals must accompany their guardian at all times and cannot be left alone. If you need special assistance with your Service Animal, please contact us in advance. We love animals, but they should stay home where they are safe.
A: The festival location is about 5 minutes away from Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City. We love Big Bear, so make sure you take time to check it out too! Lots of shopping, great hikes and don’t miss the lake! Grocery stores, restaurants, banks and hotels are just a short drive.

A: Water is available for purchase from vendors, and there are water fountains too. But please bring a container for water to fill up inside at the water fountains.
A: YES! Children are welcome! Kids 17 & Under Attend FREE!
Parents: Would you like to participate in a parent cooperative program where you can take turns caring for each other’s children while attending a class? If so, you can coordinate with other parents by contacting Maya at (909) 488-8817.
A: Everyone is welcome! Anyone new to yoga is especially welcome – we have beginning, easy and introductory classes just for you! This is a wonderful opportunity to explore and try something new! More experienced students will also have a wide range of classes to pick from, and an opportunity to deepen your practice. Bring an open mind!
A: Yes! We will be offering the best food ever in Vendor Village.
A: We love all weather and will have the festival no matter what. There are plenty of indoor spaces we can adjust and utilize. In the event of inclement weather we will adjust the schedule and move classes, but still have the festival. There are no refunds even for inclement weather.

There are multiple options within walking distance or a short drive to Big Bear Yoga Festival 2025. There is also camping nearby.

There is Motel 6 909-585-6666 a few miles way, along with a Best Western 909-866-6666, and “The Lodge at Big Bear Lake,” a hotel run by Holiday Inn 909-866-3121. If you have a Service Animal also consider Big Bear Frontier 800-457-6401. Note: We are not recommending any specifically but providing the info so you can check them out. Pets are NOT permitted at the festival, Service Animals only.

A: Yes, there is temporary storage for your belongings at Coach Check. We strongly discourage bringing any valuables to the festival. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items throughout the festival.
A: Expect a beautiful yoga event in the San Bernardino Mountains. We play under the sun and stars. Our yoga workshops are held inside and outside. The vending area is simple. There is running water and bathrooms. More than anything, expect a welcoming and fun festival full of music, movement, health and fun!
A: No accommodations are available at the festival location. Please adjust your plans but do come join us for the day! Nearby camping and accommodations are available in Big Bear City and Big Bear Lake!
